On May 20, the 14th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition “HeliRussia-2021” took place at the Crocus Expo IEC.
KNRTU-KAI participated in the HeliRussia-2021 exhibition, introducing to the public an unmanned aerial vehicle with vertical take-off and landing of the Department of Aircraft Construction and Design, a hub shell of the Ansat helicopter antitorque propeller made of composite materials, a blade made using 3D technologies and an element of a helicopter skid landing gear made of composite materials of the Aircraft Manufacturing Department, etc.
Participants and guests of the international exhibition acquainted with the development of the engineering centers of KNRTU-KAI - the Center for Composite Technologies, KAI-Composite, the Specialized Competence Center (SCC) “Composite Technologies” - and laboratories, as well as examples of the laser and additive technologies application (Department of Laser Technologies). Moreover, the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology presented educational and methodological materials for training of flight and engineering personnel.
