The KAI’s Endowment Got 9,9 Million Rubles to Create “Technopolis”

The university’s endowment was supported by the Presidential Grants Foundation .

The endowment fund of KNRTU-KAI was given 9.9 million from Presidential Grants Foundation to create the “Technopolis” Educational Complex. The grant was applied in the “Support for projects in science, education and awareness” nomination.

The funds of the Foundation will be spent on the creation of the Scientific and Practical Laboratory “Tekhnarium”, which will be located in the center of Kazan on the bank of Kazanka. “” is one of the three components of the unique for Russia educational complex “Technopolis”.

The complex includes an interactive educational center for aviation and technology based on the world's first supersonic passenger Tu-144 aircraft, the Engineering Lyceum and the Scientific and Practical Laboratory “Tehnarium”, which will be located on the banks of Kazanka. It will be practical classes on designing and creating real flying gliders there, and also unmanned aerial vehicles, river and sea vessels, engines for them, navigation and control systems.
